Don't Miss Out on College Experiences - Make a Bucket List!

College is one of those times in your life where time feels like it stretches on for infinity and then it's almost over and you'll realize how quickly those four years went by. You'll probably put off a lot of stuff as a freshman and sophomore, telling yourself that you'll do it later - and I'm not talking about essays.

By the time you get around to thinking about all the things you would like to during your college experience it may be too late to do some of them. There are certain things that are best to do as a freshman or a sophomore or a junior, and you may not be able to cram everything into your final year while you're dealing with job hunting, grad school applications, and that feeling of panic as you realize you don't know what's next.

To make sure you don't miss out on anything, make yourself a bucket list - just for college! You can make one every semester, every year, or just once. You can update at you think of more things you want to do. You can also make a list with your best friend or roommate!

Here is part of the list my roommate and I made
for our last semester together!

(Please note: we are both above the legal drinking age)
Tip: Don't forget to include some regional things! What is special about your college town? Is there anything that you won't be able to do somewhere else? Also be sure to include some "typical" college experiences (examples: go to a toga party, have a sleepover with your best friends, host an end of the semester party, take a road trip, ask out that hot guy who works in the library. Anything you want!).

Don't Forget: When you finish college you're going to have to find a full time job and start acting like an adult. This is a great opportunity to make friends, get involved in your community, and have fun!

Leave a comment and let me know what would be at the top of your bucket list (for college, or for life in general!)
